Training & Seminars

Training will include modern special education teaching methodologies, various educational concepts for specific disabilities and classroom management techniques (including challenging behaviors). A certification test will be required at the end of the classes.

Seminars:

All seminars are developed by Daniel Carroll.  Mr. Carroll has a lifetime of working with the special needs community and is recognized as a leader in the field of adapted and inclusive sports and recreation.  During the creation of his programs, he utilizes input from Therapists, educators, and coaching specialists to make sure the programs contain the latest scientifically valid theory and knowledge.

Mr. Carroll’s credentials include:

  • Masters degree in Special Education
  • 7 years classroom experience teaching special education grades 6-12
  • 40+ years experience in Martial Arts
  • Title of “Master Teacher” for creating a complete martial arts curriculum for disabled practitioners.
  • a lifetime with special needs siblings

  • Including PT, OT, and Speech reinforcement in recreational settings
  • ASD (Autistic Spectrum disorder) specific strategies for behavior and adaptations
